The Problem
The customer had a large steam boiler less than 18 months old which had already had four tubes replaced due to the chemical dosing regime not being fit for purpose.
The Solution
M & S Water Services Limited carried out a full review, installed a new fully automated dosing system and changed to a more targeted and suitable chemical package that ultimately led to a more cost effective and comprehensive water treatment programme.
The Outcome
With the implementation of the new water treatment programme the boiler is now operating at a higher efficiency and has reduced the ongoing running costs due to continuous steam generation and no loss in production time.
